OUR VISION

We train tomorrow's artists today through enriching technology-based music, art, dance, drama/theatre, and multimedia after-school and summer programs. Our vision for this fine arts curriculum is two-fold - to expose underserved youth to the creative arts, while improving academic performance by building self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-reliance.

CAGEL is a safe and fun environment. They are provided with a positive experience that nurtures new talent, hones existing talent, and allows them to see beyond a society plagued by violence, drugs, illiteracy, joblessness, and homelessness.

What does body movement communicate to observers? Participants will learn creative expression through various dance techniques.

MULTIMEDIA

What is behind the scenes of today's media? Participants will take a ride on the information superhighway, exploring how computer technology and the digital camera are integral components of the communications and entertainment industries.

MUSIC

Do you hear what I hear? Participants will explore the universal language of music.
