The Creative Arts Gallery for Education and Learning , Inc. (CAGEL), is a technology-based music, art, dance, drama, &multimedia educational program. This initiative is designed to improve academic performance of youth by building self-esteem, confidence, & self-reliance through the implementation and application of age-appropriate creative arts programs.
CAGEL is committed to addressing the needs of a generation of youth plagued by drugs, crime,
abuse, illiteracy, joblessness and homelessness. Through an inspiring creative arts curriculum, utilizing state-of-the-arts equipment and supportive services designed to enhance self-expression, we foster imaginations, generating creativity in our youth thus impacting their overall physical ånd emotional well-being and academic success.
Transforming Bullies into Heroes
Changing troubled behavior and attitudes into a positve force is a major challenge. We believe the creative approach to behavior modification offers beneficial incentives that elevate self-esteem and recognition. When children are praised for good deeds it motivates them to do more. Compassion towards others who may be different or more vunerable is one strategy for building heroe recognition.
